turbo question.
well i've decided i'm not going to be doing a swap. im going to keep the b16a2 thats in my eg right now and go from there. first off i want to start with a turbo. what would you guys recommend? i'm thinking of t3/t4. my goal is to lower the compression so the car is capable of 20 PSI. and my horsepower goals are 400+ WHP. so basically my question is which turbo do you think is right for my project? and what kind of prices should i be looking for? thanks

You dont need sleeves, but with a set of pistons and rods you'll be set as far as the motor goes.

Re: turbo question. (Boner_Ben)
trust me I know he doesnt need sleeves...... I ran stock sleeves for awhile also but I think its smarter to go ahead and do them while the motor is out and people are now doing sleeves for like ~850 shipped
I know I wish I would have done them the first time I built my motor...... but then again it all comes down to his cash flow and how much he can spend on everything

Re: turbo question. (civic_66)
people running 35psi have more than likly had their blocks resleeved and have a good tuner... tunning is the key to making a motor last and people run 30+psi on 9.5 and higher compression

That's not hard to achieve, like everyone said. Pistons and rods. if you don't do the sleeves, be sure to put a block guard in. and deffinately be sure to have to block bored like .010 over to ensure that the cylinders and round and straight. Then get a good turbo kit.. (full-race is a good one) and a good fuel system and fuel managment. you'll be good to go... Good luck

Re: (B e v - T e c h I n c.)
for my first turbo i was thinking of t3/t4. i've been takkign to acouple guys and they said i could run 9 PSI on my b16 with all stock internals. now once i low ther CR would this turbo be able to perform over 450+ hp? or should i be looking into a different turbo?
