Default turbo question

hey guys, i am about to put a y8 head on my y7.......im looking for a turbo kit instead of piecing up my own kit, i was looking at the greddy kit, i was just wondering if i could use the e-manage with my y8, or would i have to convert to obd-1, just because the 92-95 ex kit costs about 400 bucks less than the 96-00 ex, thanks in advance oh, and also what are the differences between the kits, just injector size and turbo?

You can use the emanage with OBDII, no need to convert. And yes, the only difference is the size of the turbo and included injectors. I will be putting a 15g kit on my 98 ex next week.

For now I'm just gonna plug and play but I may or may not get it tuned this summer. It depends on how satisfied I am with how it runs and how much power I get.

remember, every car varies and there are no 2 engines or setups that are alike, the bluebox is just something to get your car running...but i wouldn't leave it in for more than it takes to get to a reputable tuner, but it's your call guys</TD></TR></TABLE>

This is not a thread about the blue box. The blue box was never mentioned. The e-manage comes with the turbo kit and is tunable. Plus you do not have to convert to obd1. Believe it or not, some people actually need/prefer to stay obd2.
