Re: Turbo Problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (psileepR)
it like bends down a little bit then goes flat
but even so it shouldnt be leaking through the compressor right....

it might. the return line works on gravity so if the oil is not flowing out of the turbo fast enough then it backs up and you would have a problem
it really should be at a pretty big slope downward and no less than a -10 line. Also should be up high on oilpan

Re: (TURSpoonEK)
is your valve cover breather port hooked up to your charge pipe? some kid brought his turbo ex up to the shop and he had that hooked up there. his blow off valve was spraying oil everytime he blew off. you dont want that hooked up to a compressed pipe, the intake pipe if any, and i'd not reccomend that either. put a breather filter on it. i've had that turbo setup myself and didnt have that problem.

Re: (TURSpoonEK)
sorry this is off topic, but what size is the greddy turbo and how does it compare to the garrett t25?
i figure the only way oil is getting into the intake or into the compressors is because of a bad seal at the center section (bearings) of the turbo. theres no other way for the oil to get there. faulty turbo?

Re: (S03Burner)
in the pic you can clearly see that the valve cover breather tube is connected to the intake pipe(going into the compressor housing) that would cause oil to be sucked into the compressor housing and pushing it through the charge pipes.
put a breather filter on the valve cover.

Re: (2.2Lcivic)
Actually, all I see is the hose comming off the valve cover and bending down, can't see where it goes but I'll assume it does connect to the charge pipe which is why you're sucking oil out of the head and into the charge piping.
Attatch that line to the intake pipe just behind the filter, there should be a nipple just for that on there.

Re: (VTC_CiViC)
im not sure if oil is getting on the intake and exhaust side , because oil is getting through the hole motor via the charge pipes . the valve cover vent is hooked up to the pcv(i think) then from the pcv to the charge pipe......

Wha!? Return the PCV back to the stock setup and run the valve cover breather. Clean your intake piping and put it all back on.. should be A-ok

Re: (VTC_CiViC)
^^ I told him that online
The hole on your Greddy Filter, Make that Connect to your TPS Sensor, just stick it at the end of the filter and the hoes to the filter, and run a oil breather on your engine, DONE and DONE, and get that gasket for your downpipe
