Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!!
Tonight I ran my car, i got in 3 runs in 5 hours. Anyway, I finally beat a 2.3 60ft (over 30 runs naturally aspirated ) and ran a 2.200 and a 1/4 of 13.748 @ 102.17. My next run was a 13.8@103 with a 2.274 60ft and my final, traction limited run was a 14.28@102 with a tire spinning 2.4 60ft.
Overall I am pretty happy with the times and I can't wait to be boosting more than .5 bar (a little more than 7lbs). It was fun beating my friends modded Mustang GT, S2000, and LT1 Firebird Formula.....not to mention quite a few others . Boost is a great thing.

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!!
Thanks for flaming my thread *******. Its funny cause I actually post in the largest Mustang forum on the net (www.corral.net) and when I posted this time they congratulated me and one guy said he ran a 13.4 with a blower...hmmmm. I wasn't running juice either, pay attention to the signature and go away.
I have only been turbocharged on the stock bottom end for 4 days.

Congrats! What is your setup? What fuel enrichment? Turbo specs, other mods (exhaust) etc?

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!! (smackdown-lude)
On a basic online HP calc, I get about 250 horses, which i would think is relatively close to what i am putting down. Soon enough, I will know, but Hondata and injectors must come first.
My setup is a stock block 2.3 liter non-vtec prelude with Drag IC piping, Drag manifold, Drag downpipe (2.5"), FMAX MF2 fuel, HKS wastegate, Blitz BOV, Spearco IC and a T3/T04e watercooled turbo. My other mods are ACT clutch, Fidanza flywheel, AEM underdrive, 255lph intank pump, AEM rail, AEM FPR, 2.5" test pipe, GReddy cat-back, MSD SCI, MSD blaster SS coil and some more stuff i can't think of plus Koni adjustables, H&R springs and strut tower bars.

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!! (VTEC_SiR)
not to bad i guess i ran a 13.9 at 101 with a 2.3 60 ft but i had to leave hard off the clutch cause my suspension is 12 years old and wheel hop is horrible. oh yeah and im running 4 psi to know the car can go mid to low 13's on 4 psi as it sits just need to get it to hook up.

quit hating on him. He is working on upgrading, and besides he just got it done, with no tuning. He will get the times down.

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!! (smackdown-lude)
Thanks for defending me Smackdown-lude. WTF is with this......102 mph might be good for a little lower 13. Thats great if your car can beat me or if you have more **** and more tuning, damn i didn't think that there would be people flaming me for a stock block, untuned prelude running a 13.7. Not appreciated.

Thats a good time, considering the prelude is a pig of a car. Get those 60's down and up the boost a little bit and 12's are around the corner.
Congrats

Hey man - I was at the track that night --very impressive -- everyone I was with was super impressed, too.
What was Rustin's best time with that turbo kit? Did he ever break into the 13's? I can't remember if he ever did or not.

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!! (Reverend)
He ran a 14.1(i think) @ 101 with 2.3 60ft. I think those numbers are accurate, i know he had a 2.3 60' and a low 14 second time, he never hit 13's. I have more mods (besides turbo) on my car, so that might be why we ran different. I also ran 2.2 60' compared to his 2.3 60' which makes a differece.....after 30 plus runs, i drop from a 2.3 to a 2.2(and now i have a lot more power than NA), the track must have been sticky, all my friends dropped to lower 60' too.

Oh and 93lscivic the prelude is not a pig damnit! (haha) I am working hard on getting it lighter! I am down to 2503 lbs! I may have more weight but the "h" has more power!

Re: Turbo Prelude run 13.7@102!!! (pagong)
the times were on Nitto NT555 225/40/ZR/17 tires. Best 60' of 2.20 (so close to 2.1 dammit)
I am working on the pics, just give me a little time, i am busy.
