Default The turbo prelude problems continue!!!!!!

OK guys, most of you already know i had to change the radiator and thermostat, and the cat for a test pipe...as if that weren't bad enough! I had an oil leak ever since the car was finished, around the oil pan but only when the turbo was spooled, (i.e. I was in boost "mode") anyway, i replace the oil pan gasket, thinking it was that....didn't work still leaked, so then i went to a local shop, a good shop by any means, and they put it on the lift and said that the oil pan gasket was probably bad, so they replaced it again with a new one....this was today.... AND THE DAMN THING STILL LEAKS, the turbo return lines are dry....it looks like its still shooting out of the oil pan by the turbo return line. is it possible that when the moron welded my turbo return line he warped the pan and now it doesn't fit right? The gasket is definatly in right, the guy who put it in worked for honda for 8 years....as far as i know the turbo return off the pan looks good.....any ideas why the hell this would be happening???? its getting really annoying!!!!!

take the pan off, take it to a machine shop, and have it magnafluxed, it will tell you if there are any hairline cracks or anything where oil could (probably) seep through.

leaks are a pain in the *** sometimes. I welded a drain bung into an oil pan, and just on the outside of my weld, there was a hairline crack, and i was able to fix it.

hope you find the problem.
