Turbo placements
I was goin thru some threads and saw that honda peeps are mountin turbos with the compressor facin either directions
direction 1
direction 2
....
i would like to know are they any drawbacks, or gains to mounting the turbo in either directions

It's based upon what the manifold is designed for in particular chassis, and not from a cost-benefit point of view. Some manifolds must face one direction over another because of turbocharger size, use of accessory equipment like a/c or power steering, or radiator and intercooler placement. But there is no one way that is better than the other overall

Also depends on the size of the turbo, if its to big then u will have to turn the exhaust so its not on the radiator. just keep in mind the size of your turbo, engine and other components IE radiator.., Power Steering.. stuff like that.
