turbo placement.
ok i want to turbo my da integra 1992, it has a b16 in it. i am going to run a jg fab exhaust manifold and a garrett t3/t04e 57 trim. but i have been looking at pic of turboed da's and i see that almost all of them are mounted to where the intake faces the right (drivers side) of the engine bay and the hot side intercooler pipe comes up and across the top and down. my question is on the setup i will be running which way will the turbo face and do i have to run the hot side intercooler pipe up and across then down to the turbo?

there is no intercooler pipe on the hot side of the turbo, that would be the cold side, as for your question im not sure cuz i dont know that mani offhand, if its log type the hotside is most likly on the drivers side, opposite for ramhorn, you can tell by looking at the flange placement on the mani.

Re: turbo placement. (teg racer 877)
i thought the ic pipe from the turbo to the ic is the hot side? and on the da integras that i seen pics of the turbo faces the driver side of the car. with the ic piping coming up and then back down to the turbo instead of the piping coming from under the car up to the turbo. so how am i going to run the ic pipe to the turbo?
