Turbo pistons on Ebay and Probe I-BEAM Rods
What do you think about the low compresion pistons kits like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem
I want to use it with a PROBE I-BEAM Rods : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem
What do you think about this combination and what is the potential of this?
Thank you for your answer!

Re: Turbo pistons on Ebay and Probe I-BEAM Rods (Wheelman-CZ)
As far as the quality of the brand Probe i can say that i have been involved in building 2-3 motors with their pistons, and i have seen them take big shots of nitrous and hard driving without a problem.
As for the rods you are looking at, i would suggest not using lightened rods on a boosted application expecially "I beams" which are engineered for NA motors due to being lighter in weight.
For the price of the rods i would say spend the extra $50 or so for some Eagle Rods with the larger 3/8 rod bolt.
As for that piston kit, its priced extremely well for the parts included. I saw that ACL race bearing in there which is quite the reputable company(aside from some builders hate them). As for the rest of the parts it seems to be ok, ditch the head gasket an use a OE headgasket.
I dont have any personal expierence with their pistons in 4-cylinders but i am sure that it would work, as for power capibilities i cant say. As long as the motor is assembled correctly i dont see why they wouldnt be able to handle some HP.
Also if you are trying to stay on a budget for the bottom end also consider Tuner Toys or SRP which is a branch of JE.
