Turbo Noob needs help. :P
Just got my T3 installed today so still a T-Noob.
Anyways, is it ok if I use a 2.5" pipe from the t3 downpipe all the way to the exhaust, but uses the stock cat?(for now cuz of money problem) Would it cause any problems, power loss, or damage to the engine or turbo?

LS motor (stock internal). with T3 @ 7psi.
My downpipe is 2.5 and that's the reason why I want to go 2.5 all the way back to the exhaust. But then after reading some threads on here, I'm debating whether to go 2.5 or 3".
