Default turbo noob help...

ive got an LS swap in my 95 civic coupe. all stock internals and stock head. what kind of boost will the stock bottom end hold? im looking at running around 10-12 lbs, what kind of work needs to be done to the bottom end and head to support that much boost and what kind of 1/4 mi times am i lookin at? what size injectors will i need? and will i need to upgrade the fuel pump or anything else in the fuel system...
thanx for the help, cam

10-12 is pushing it on stock internals imo. and 440cc injectors should be used.

A lot of people are running 10-12psi on stock internals with no issues. In the end it all comes down to tuning.

I've got the same motor and will probably run about 10psi. I've got Zip's SMC (soon to upgraded to the SMC500) and 450CC DSM injectors.

If you go the route of a standalone or FMU you will need either an intank or inline fuel pump.

I wouldnt try 10-12psi on a stock motor w/ out standalone. The key to running high boost on stock internals is in the timing map. a/f is obvious, but running conservative timing is key. This is something u can only do effectively w/ a standalone.

550cc injectors, walbro intank fuel pump, and hondata s200b was enough to get the job done for me. I run 12psi daily stock LS motor. but w/ out standalone w/ a basic fmu set up boost should be kept low, 7-8psi range.
