How about you just ditch the turbo and use all nitrous?
So, how did you "build" the block to withstand a lot of pressure - seems to me like you don't know what you're talking about.
Did you get it sleeved or what?..........
I hate when people "build" things before they know all of the required information.
Do some research before you put nitrous on anything.........

hey man don't get all defensive or people on here won't help you....he just said that because of how you asked your question and without enough information no one can really give you any meaningful advice and how your question was asked you kinda sounded like a noob that doesn't know what he is talking about.

Re: (gnar kill)
im just having a bad day and that didnt help.
so maybe i should ask how do you set up a system to have nitrous take over the turbo at the top end when the turbo is maxing out?
i have too mush mods to list but my motor can take it if its possible.
any ideas?

What i'm saying is you obviously don't know much about boosting let alone nitrous.
Want my opinion:
Do some research before you build your motor. No one's going to answer your question if you haven't taken the time to search - and don't tell me you've searched, because you obviously haven't.
As far as turbo and nitrous - of course you can do that.......but why would you want a turbo that will "max out" anyway? Get a bigger turbo...........never run anything to its fullest.
If your motor is that built....get a nice setup. DOn't buy an already made kit - make it yourself. I say Get a larger turbo so you won't have to use nitrous at all. Nitrous can get so expensive. A good size turbo will make power all the way to redline in 5th.........If that turbo is new, you might be able to sell it for a good penny.

check out the top dyno posts on here....these people know what they are doing when it comes to d-series
rrussell -- 418whp 314wtq
D16z6 built bottom end and head -- T3/T4 54 trim .63AR -- 22psi and 70 shot -- Haltech w/ 72lb. injectors
that is the top post but I am sure someone is higher somewhere....500hp d16s I think are pretty rare

Re: (SPOOLINmatt)
If you are going to spray over a 75 shot I would suggest direct port so that the nitrous and fuel is spread equal through out the motor

Re: (Cprace1)
well the thing is i have a solid set up that can handle a lot but im running a gt28rs to keep it street friendly but for the tracks i wanted to get more. if its possible with nitrous. then when i get off the track im still content with my responsive turbo.
so it looks like the answer is no. then. no way to give a healty shot for the top end on a smaller turbo.
as for tracks in hawaii. we got 4 1320 tracks. hawaii raceway park is the biggest where we do alot of drifting. its very big here. mostly v8s though.

Re: (dohckiller)
i cant get the nitrous out of my head!
just a thought... if i gave it a dry shot before the compression. like as close to the intake filter as possible. wouldnt that help compress more oxygen molecules to burn? the turbo will still give same boost pressure but more air molecules. or will it still konk out at whatever the turbos max hp rating is at?

Re: (dohckiller)
ummm....if your car is turboed and you want to inject the nitrous as close to the filter as possible....that means the nitrous is gonna go through the turbo......I don't know if this is bad or not but I sure wouldn't do it....why don't you just get your turbo setup on and done and see how you like it. once it is runnin then decide whether you need more hp
