Default Turbo on New Engine

Should I put a turbo on my newly built ls/vtec? Or should I wait and run it N/A first....for like a few miles?

I would break it in off boost so the tiny shavings don't screw up your turbo

Clueless

I break in all the engines my cars and my customers cars about 15 minutes after initial startup........using boost.

If you havent tuned it for boost i woundn't recommend running it FI for break in.

Mind you super rich could be good for bedding in the rings with bore wash
