How about a power goals instead of a random and completely useless "which one is more efficient"

The second one is probably a little closer to the 'norm' that people go with on the LS.

Stick with the 50-57 trim T3/T4's

Or even the GT32 series..

Here's a dyno of the last GT32 "Blue Pill" I created for a STOCK LS w/ E-manage and 440cc injectors, 38mm .4 bar wastegate and about 10 psi on 93 pump gas w/ stock plugs.

well i was actually leaning to getting the t3/60-1

why would you reccommned the 57 trim over the t3/60-1?

i know the 60-1 is a lil big,and spool time wouldnt probably come in till about 3,5-4,but the 60-1 flows 11 more lb/min then the 57 trim.

what are your opinions of the pros and cons of the 60-1 vs the 57 trim

and yes my goal is right as we speak 250whp. but then after that i want head work to get done in hopes of 300....then 350....and so on

also...on the first turbo the turbine wheel is a: HIGH FLOW 76 TRIM stg 3 wheel, but the exhaust a/r is .48

how do you think this will play in spool up for the ls?

that must mean full-race are idiots for offering the 60-1 with their stage 2 kits. and im even more of an idiot for having one on my ls and having around 250whp now and shooting for 400 after tuning

stfu and only offer people good advice and if you have somethign bad to say about something back it up with atleast some information

Most I've seen on a T3/60-1 is 640 WHP. It's definitely overkill for your setup. The 57-trim will support atleast 450 WHP and do everything you want with quicker spool and a better powerband.

The housings are irrelevant. They are your standard .60A/R (which I can port and squeeze great out of a .50A/R for the compressor, and a .63 A/R for the exhaust.

As for the full measurements.. well, that's why I do what I do . I make it efficient for the needs of the motor and consumer.

Send him a pm his name is phoenixturbo.com on H-T....
if you wanna email him send it to contact@cheapturbo

And to further "elaborate"
the 57 trim is a much better choice for spool your power goals and pocket book....
if you wanted room to grow above 500whp in the future you may want to look into a ball bearing turbo....

Another option is buy the 60-1 you most likely wont be happy with all the lag...but you can "save up" and buy the new ball bearing upgrade later on and still have enough room to grow
