you should throw ice cold water on it to drop the temp.

Glowing red manifold is never good. You should fix that asap before you melt a piston or valve.

if u had a EGT sensor you would know if its the exhaust running too hot or if it's just the crappy manifold

just because its thin doesn't mean it should be glowing. Your tune is off.

if you had that same tune, and you put a car with a full race mani on a dyno and held it under load for long enough IT would glow too.

Stainless doesn't glow at different tempuratures regardless, check into your tune / egt's...

crappy manifold may be one reason, but I would say it may be your timing is off, coz it happen on my friend's nisson 240, and it was because timing problem.

You guys are stoopid. "crappy manifold" has nothing to do with it. Go find something else better to say.

Glowing manifold is a common thing with boost. But when you glow underboost, its your TUNE. Like aboved mentioned. Check your EGT and see wasssup..

BTW.. SSauto gets my thumbs up.

My manifold glows orange/red but thats only bacause I know i am running rich, my timing is retarded a degree and my manifold is cast iron. They are the worst for glowing. It stays hot as hell for hours also!

Also common with NA headers, and turbo mani's on factory setups. Nothing unusual at all.
