Re: Turbo manifold collectors (Phoenix GSR)
I have a question for the collector makers..
if I were to buy a bandsaw and try to start making my own collectors, would I need to buy a big $1000-$1200 powerful saw, or would the smaller $400 home versions you can buy at places like sears and lowes be good enough?? is it just the blade that makes a band saw a wood saw vs a metal bandsaw?
thanks,
Dan

Re: Turbo manifold collectors (Phoenix GSR)
Dan why do you think its so expensive to make them.. I guess tinker says he is using one of the cheap saws. I just got my JET one in so we will see how that works. For what it cost it should work good.

Re: Turbo manifold collectors (Jordo)
double slip fit are really nice although expensive to produce. only a few manufacturers take the time to do this... reflected in the price too.

Re: Turbo manifold collectors (untuned)
we sell merge collectors(2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1) if anyone needs them.
we can make them in 16ga(turbo) or 18ga(N/A). we use either 12 degree or 15 degree bends depending.
For a bare collector it's $229
