Default which turbo manifold

I have opportunity to purchase either a SS inline pro t3 turbo manifold or Go-Autoworks SS t3 ramhorn. This is for my built turbo lsvtec which im looking to make 400whp -450whp on my DD ef hatch with a gt30r turbo. Will the ramhorn be able to provide good midrange power as the inline pro manifold will provide.

Not contesting that it will have boost quicker and thus more power qucker with the inline pro

I say its a trade off the log will spool slightly quicker the ram will make a little more up top

theres a thread from way back that proves just this, with dynocharts and i beleive it was fullrace that did it

I have similar results to b20vtec, on my 1.8 its pretty much fully spooling at 4k in 4th and 5th, lower gears a bit higher in the rev range

Ramhorn will make more power up top.

I have 400$ into this manifold. Its a PeakBoost manifold. bought used for 320$, 80$ for the wrap (tons of left over, dei titanium)

Log manifold will make better iniatial spool up and low end than the ramhorn due to surface area. But, the ramhorn should start to take off during midrange, and make more up top. Gota ask yourself, are you ever gona want more power, if not then the inline pro may be just rite for up.

However, on my ramhorn tga 5857 i have full boost by bout 5k

I wouldnt even consider a log manifold unless its a cast inline pro or something nice.

Miniram is the best of both worlds.
