Would any little size hole or leak in the turbo intercooler piping cause a big power loss or a lag?.. Would a hole the size if a needle make a big differene?...thanx

 

A "little" hole in the charge piping will cause a boost leak...you may still build-up pressure, but you wont reach full boost.

Idk about a 'needle-sized' hole, but im sure it would make somewhat of a difference.

 

i had a little hole in my intercooler piping because it kinda sags low, but i just used jb weld to cover it up.

 

like it was said... any holes will cause a leak, and you wont build boost as well... and it may not reach full boost...

if its small enough, it shouldnt affect it that much..

but if its big, it will feel laggy, because you wont get to full boost

 

about how big do you think the hole was? the hole that i can notice is about the size of a needle tho..

 

shouldnt be enough to cause a serious loss....

check for other leaks?
