Default turbo lagging

t3/t4 .57 trim on stock gsr @ 5psi, turbo usually hits 5psi before 4krpm but with new edelbrock mani, full boost hits 4.5krpm and lags, is it due to volume? what should full boost be at? (car feels weaker than before)

The Edelbrock is overkill for a small turbo running a small psi number, untuned. If you tune it, it won't bog, but it will still lag worse than before because it is overkill and engineered for high rpm gains.

i've seen 7psi on gsx turbo gsr and his pulls a lot better than mines, maybe smaller turbo but not boosting much either, untuned. all vac lines are fine. just didn't run 2nd throttle vac, do i need them, what about their wire plugs?
