Which turbo kit to get?
Hey everyone, I am having troubles with what turbo kit to get. I had a Drag III, and hated it. It was supposed to be bolt on. It didnt fit worth ****, the piping was not right at all, the waste gate hit the hood, their was a leak between the exhaust manifold and the downpipe, it took forever to spool (I think because of the piping), and I wasnt satisfied at all. I was looking to get an f-max kit, but im not to sure now. It takes them 4 weeks to build. I am definatly not getting greddy. What do you all think????????

Fmax kits are nice. the piping fits and there is no need to weld or cut to get the downpipe on the car. It really is a bolt on kit.
However the mf2 (extra injectors) suck IMO.

I vote for Revhard, even though I have a Greddy. Forget Fmax and their stupid fuel management. I really don't care if people have fast Fmax kits, it just seems really half-assed to me.

Re: Which turbo kit to get?
Is the revhard kit bolt on? This is gonna be a daily driven car. It is ls/vtec fully built with 9.5:1 compression in a crx. I havent heard a lot about revhard before. But I hear a lot of good things about fmax, except about their extra injectors setup thing. So far everyone is voting for revhard. can anyone tell me why not fmax over revhard? Where would I be able to buy a revhard kit at?

Rev hard is a "bolt on kit" but you will need to goto a muffler shop after the install to finish up the install.
On the other hand fmax kit's are "True bolt-on" kits. No need to cut and weld to get everythign back on.
Either way both kits are nice!

The only thing he will have to do is finish off the down Pipe and wast gate piping right?

Whatever you do, stay away from any kit sold with a Turbonetics Hybrid turbo.
Apexi uses the extremely well built IHI turbo, a little more expensive as a kit but well worth it.
