Hey guys I was wondering what your opinion on a turbo ls set up is? I already have a turbo but I was wondering what kind of sleeves, bore, pistons, rings, etc. is the best set up to make hp???

do some research it will help alot, there are 6.5million threads on this...

But anyway, yeah you can boost an ls setup, how much power are you looking for? If its <300 your probably fine on stock sleeves, as for rings, bore, go with 81.5mm and whatever rings that come with your new pistons.

As for pistons i suggest CP or Wiseco, you will need new rods as well- eagle are the cheap choice that work well, but crower, manley, pauter are more expensive, better choices

hope this points u in the right direction

remember the turbo setup is just as important as the engine setup!

Well I am running a 60-1 already and I am only pushing 231whp...it doesnt seem right? Tuned with chrome with 440's, neukin manifold, 38mm wastegate, 3 inch DP, it seems like it should be more...I am just looking for more HP and I know Lsvtec will make it higher...but once i go vtec I am going to hone the sleeves thats a fact, but I dunno anything about sleeves

231 is low for your setup but you def. need bigger injectors to support more power

really? 440's arent big enough? What should I go with then?


Yeah I went to that topic but it didnt help me any...nothing really answers my questions...about pistons, rods, valves, sleeves etc..
