Default turbo intake pipe size?

simple question, what size piping should i use for my turbo-intake pipe? 2.5" or 3"? running 8psi on t3/t4...

2.5 max The turbo will not be moving enought air to need 3". It may actually hurt you.

so i could even run 2.25"? what is ideal size? what is the size of a drag or revhard intake pipe?

drag and revhard use 2.5 and 2.25 both work fine. most people like the 2.5inch

3" is used mostly on highhp engines 500+hp

Use piping the size of your turbo inlet, maybe a BIT bigger. Nothing extreme. Same goes for charge piping, go by the outlet of the turbo, + a 1/2 inch or so max. Anything else is overkill.

i could have sworn the drag kit came w/ 2" IC piping.

He was reffering to the Turbo intake piping

I run the same size as my Turbo inlet 3", using a 5-6 inch piece of pipe,with a shitty 3" mushroom filter.... I need to get another K&N
