t4 60-1 comes with the Fmax kit, my teammate is running the same set up on his NA-T and is pushing 18 psi and gettin 400HP annd 400 torque ( very close to tohse numbers, dunno the real ones, give or take 10 HP annd 20 torque) at 23 psi he was runing cclose to 550-600 and the hose cconnecctor melted and cracked. BTW- AEBS buillt motor JE slubs, crowere rods, etccc
this guys cars only gonna ruun 6 psi for the moment until he feels safe to boost it up more.

any reason he didn't go with the intake manifold that's on the turbo'd supras ( with the tb on the left side pointing forward) I think that'd make the piping part a lot easier. Also, isn't the compression on the na 1 pt higher than the turbo?

one simple reason.... its all more money .. i wasa doin all the work soo he didnt give a **** *thata ******* while everyone else is payin 5000$ for an Fmax kit, he basiclaly got te Fmax exhaust side and the resst tof te stuff for 2500$ and yes the compression is higher, hence wy only 6 psi for now until tuning

Wow, didnt realize that fmax made a kit for the supras. How close are the engine constructions between the n/a and FI versions?

they're essentially te same, differencecs- no turbo, highh comp pistons, fuel pump, injectors, and intake mani and tT is distributorless

Isn't the turbine going to be heating up the charge air considerablly the way the piping is routed?

Also, Bryan305, you wondered why he didn't use the Turbo intake that has the TB facing foward, you are thinking of the 2JZ in the MKIV supras. In the MKIII supras, the turbo intake manifold still runs right over the top of the motor, it just doesn't split like the NA version. It is possible to use a MKIV mani, but as dc2 mentioned, it is a HUGE pain in the butt.
Project dc2, what form of fuel control is your friend using? At that 400hp mark, it can be trickey. Did you address the HG issue or are you using the old "crossing fingers" trick? It sounds like you guys go things well under control, but if you've got any questions PM me. Had a Turbo Supra for a few years before defecting to Honda.
