Can i use wire mesh around the turbo inlet for my daily driver?

or will it let too much dust in?

 

you could, but why? do you have space issues? i stumbled upon a thread comparing different filters, wire mesh, double mesh etc. the difference was within 1-5whp, which is how much the dyno can be off from run to run.
