Actually, a set of 440cc injectors will do just fine for a b16a1, and you won't need a resistor box.

Check into some dsm 450cc injectors.. You can get a set of them for $50-$75 anywhere..

really that easy? some bloke on the uk forum said i would have to put resisters on just about any injectors unless i bought new RC one designed for honda. ive found some dsm 450cc low impedence peak and hold and you say these will work fine with no other mods?

Well you need to run a resistor box since they are low-imp but thats very easy to setup..

Right ok, how do i go about building one?
Im good a that sort of thing as im an engineer but im not sure what it involves. Is it easier to put theresisters inline with each injector?

I think you car came with resistor box. You might want to check first before you buy the injectors. If your car came with factory resistor box, then you can put the dsm 450 in. You might have a hard time trying to get it idle right. I could be wrong on this.

Inner wing???? We are talking about a car and not an airplane right..LOL

That might be it.. Count the number of wires going to it.. If there are 5 wires then thats it..

Just test the stock injectors that you have with an Ohm-meter. If they are like 2-4 Ohms, they are low impedance [means you have a resistor box already] and you will need to either buy more low impedance injectors or remove the resistor box [it's easier just to go with low impedance injectors]. If the injectors read 12-14 Ohms on the Ohm-meter, they are high impeance, meaning your car doesn't have a resistor box, and you'd either need to find some high impedance injectors or wire in a resistor box to use low impedance ones.

Ive bought some 390cc injjectors and they come with a resister box so i should have no problems now. i hope. I have an old style afc with the single **** on the front to richen or lean off the mixture can i use this in the same way as the new S-AFC' (AFC Hack) or do i need to up grade?
