That isn't a T25, it is not from a 2G DSM.

It's a Mitsu turbo of some nature... I'm not sure I completely trust what I see on the side, but it looks like (TD)05-12. Smallish, good for maybe 200 whp.

The flange looks like a DSM T25 flange to me.

 

Yeah, it's the DSM flange, but it's not off the 1 or 2G Eclipse.

Maybe the 4G61T Colt, or something wierd JDM... I know the 3000GT got tiny chihuahua head sided 9B's.

 

Yeh but I dont think that t-25's have 2 vacume lines on the waste gate actuator.....

 

Anybody know if maybe its a turbo from a mirage? I kinda need to know what it is because I need to know where to buy a gasket for it.

 

I'm a DSM guy and I can tell you that is neither a t-25 or a 14b turbo. The 14b doesn't have a full turbo outlet like that one; it has a small flush hole with 2 screw holes next to it so you can screw on the turbo outlet elbow. The t-25 also has a curved turbo outlet pipe.

Kinda don't like the last part, I'm a SBF guy, but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

 

Yeah, when Mitsu went to redesign the Eclipse (and Talon) in 95, they needed to increase their domestic product count so one thing they did was switch over to a garret t-25 turbo.

 

This turbo you bought is from an 88-89 Mitsu Starion/Chrysler Conquest
It is a TD05-12A.
