Ok maybe this is a newbee question or maybee I need to read Corky Bells book some more but I have a question about this...

As some of you may know I'm running a 60-1 right now with the .70 a/r compressor .63 a/r exhaust housings and as of right now I don't really think that spool up is much of an issue all thou it ain't no t3/t04e I just downshift if I need some extra power.

Anyways I was thinking, at the track I'm not really gona be exposed to rpm's under 5k so sence my turbo is usually fully spooled up by 5k in 2nd or 3rd gear I was thinking of maybe purchasing a .82 a/r exhaust housing and whenever I go to the track I will just swap the housings and have some later spool. But now that I have all of this in mind more questions arize like, will I gain any more horsepower at the same boost level out of my turbo if I do this and is doing this simple swap even worth the time or money????

So tell me what you guys think of all this...

How much boost are you pushing and on what motor? I'd stick with the .63 a/r on the exhaust side unless you're running an extreme setup.

The engine is a b18c1 and i have had it up to 14psi tops... In the next few weeks I will try to raise it up to 18psi or so....

Come on somebody has to know here.... How much power can I expect out of switching from a .63 a/r housing to a .82 a/r...
