Default Turbo Help???

Just got a question, Im going to be running a turbo set up in my 92 dx
on a gsr motor. But when the setup was in the gsr itself it kind of ran poorly in the
end. In the beginning it ran perfect. My friends said that they either had to take off the map sensor or get one because we didn’t have the apexi turbo controller. If I just run the setup without that apexi controller should it be able to run fine. And would I need some different injecters too?

Thanks..

It feels like it's losing pressure. it Chokes and sometimes bogs out. If you slam the pedal down It bogs then in higher RPM it runs a little more decent. I was told If I had the Apexi controller it would be able to help control all the air/fuel and the turbo without having to unplug the map sensor where the engine light would go on..

Sounds like you're running rich. What are you using for engine management? I would suggest Hondata, AEM, or Uberdata.
