Default turbo gsr overheating

Just got my car a few days ago. Its running 10 lbs on a t3/t4. I have a temp gauge in the car and its reading really hot, like 220-240 and the car starts to bog pretty bad. I have the fan hotwired, but its still overheating. Radiator seems to be ok, but i cant be certain. Any idea what this could be? What is ideal running temperature??

not to scare you, but when my old engine was eating itself up it overheated constantly. start with a t-stat. preferably a honda t-stat. you could remove the rad take it to a rad shop and have them flush it, or for 99 bucks get a new del sol dual core off of radiators.com

try flushing you rradiator, replace the thermostat, any leaks from under the water pump? It would be your waterpump if you see alot fo coolant coming from under your car. flushing the radiator and reoplacing the tsat are the cheapest and easiest ways to try and see if those were your problems. if you do so, do not yuse the orang/red radiator fluid, thats meant for gm cars, use the green ****.
