Default turbo filter

I've been searching and searching this and I know its been covered but I need a better answer. Im building my GSR motor with a Peakboost AC kit. I want to run an air filter on the turbo not a piece of mesh or wide open. I've seen a couple pics were the turbo looks like its sitting at about a 20 degree angle instead of straight that the filter would not clear in front of the radiator. My question is will the 3.5 inch long air filter at k&n negate me from reaching my power goals of 450whp. I cannot find a car with that filter making over 300whp cause no one is pushing there motors. by the way im running a t3-60-1. Thanks ladies and gents

the filter is not going to limit what amount of power you make on any noticeable degree
