If keeping the price low and with a power target of 500whp, the SC61 is your turbo. There is a few of them which are all very similar and similar price. PTE SC61, Innovative GT61, PHXTURBO Blowzilla just to name a few. They are all around $700-900.

If your looking for a good turbo to hit that mark and are on a budget, I would suggest a holset hx35. There is a whole thread here dedicated to holsets turbos, check it out it may be a viable option for you. GL.
You can find the comp map for the turbo in the holset thread, but @ 25psi (2.7pr) the compressor flows 55lb/min @ 65% efficiency. Plenty for what you are looking for.

They are all very similar. GT40/GT35r (same wheel) compressor wheel stuffed into either an E or S cover. T350 exhaust side in a t3 housing with your choice of size. The PTE and Innovate both run custom exhaust housings which they said make more power, while others use real Garrett pieces. Innovative can uses Inconel wheels which help for high temp durability.
They are all within 5% of each other IMO and all offer very similar spool times. Personally id pick somebody that you trust buying from.
I bought my turbo from Ken@phoenixturbo.com (you can PM him here on honda-tech), he was super helpful and answered all my questions.
