I noticed some of you are still running your a/c. What manifolds are you using?
I plan to do this with my 88 civic b16'd hatch and still keep my a/c since I just replaced it all w/new stuff.
I saw this one by Stealthmode performance. I don't know wether or not to go w/an external wastegate or not since I'm still in the baby stages of planning this stuff out.

I figure that manifold, VAFC hack, some dsm injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and that's as far as it goes fer now.
Don't know what size turbo, this is for my only car, so it can't be crazy. I just wanna give the dsm's a run for their money.

thats what I went with for my DA...I got on the GD on HMT a few weeks ago and got mine with external flange for $175 shipped, I hope to have it next week or the one after hopefully. I'll be using a Mitsu TD05H, hope to have it running next month, key word is "hope"

I was just wondering how you guys ran your IC pipes if you retained your A/C? It looks like the A/C compressor gets in the way. Did you run 2 pipes through the passenger side? Do you know if there is more room on 3rd Gens to run the A/C right by the A/C compressor? Thanks.

honda hick-
i didnt keep my a/c, but i think one way to do it may be to come up through the hole for the windshield washer squirters (must get removed) and turn your turbo up...you might try running the compressor on the drivers side to help out as well... a screen over the actual turbo could save some room in that department but i guess it depends on what mani and how big of a turbo you run.

What I did was remove the tow hook on the drivers side. That opened up enough of a gap to route the IC piping through. I don't really like the way it fit, but it works. If I can find the pics I'll try and post them.

Jes take that crap off. If you remove it you'll see a lil gasket for it, on the bottom of the dashpot (if thats what its called) theres this plate, the holes ALMOST line up, i jes redrilled the holes bigger and use the washers to bolt it up to the left over hole. works for me
