Default Turbo d16y7

My question involves obd1 bullcrap....so I am done with my turbo kit it's on a stock y7 with stock y7 manifold still obd2. My question is will a apexi safc work for my street tune with a wideband? The tuners around here screwed my b20 up last time lol and I figured I'd just go a different route and be able to keep it obd2 for emissions....will this work okay? Obviously I know obd1 on chrome or hondata is better, but my tuners around here are not lol. Thanks guys.

SAFC/FMU hacks are not a ******* tune. Period. End of discussion. If you're too broke to get your car tuned, you shouldn't have installed the parts. If you can't find a tuner that can properly tune your car, you shouldn't have installed the parts. No, you don't get to keep your turbo car OBD2 for emissions. That's not how it works.

You have to pay to play.

Lol look at this douche u a big bad boy? Queer....it clearly states that the tuner in my ******* area screwed my b20 up lastime....why the **** would I take a boosted single cam to him knowing it's harder to tune than a eg with a na b20? And who said I was broke? I don't feel like towing my car 100+ miles for a tune if I can afc it and drive it to the shop for the dam tune? I never said I wanted to keep the afc forever but I can however use my brother afc and not boost it and hop on the freeway and drive to get my damn tune done so quit being a ****** or go suck ur mom's ****

A join date of 2007, attitude like you were born in 2002, and a mentality like you're stuck in the 90's. You're just a whole package of win.

Put the VACF/FMU hacks down. Find a garbage can. Get a long stick. Use said stick to put them into the garbage can. You're complaining about a tuner ruining your B20 (although, given what we already know about you, I'd bet you did something stupid and just want to blame anyone but yourself), but rather than solving the problem by either owning up to your own mistake, or finding a better tuner (or both), you're taking one step back to a relatively ancient, outdated, and downright worthless bit of tech that'll put your engine at even more risk than if you tried to tune it yourself.

You're taking a step backwards, not a step forwards. Get rid of the garbage, and step into the 21st century.
