Default turbo d16

What would you guys recommend as far as being broke and not having enough for stand alone. Im putting a turbo kit together, but i need some sort of electronic gizmo to control this crazy little ******. what should i get. i dont care about how much freedom i have with tuning. Its not like im going to be changing what i put in this thing everyday. I just want it to run like it was like that from the factory. U guys dig what im saying??

meaning what? stand alone?? I said i dont want it. I dont want to tune it, I dont want to pay to have someone do it. And its just a honda, I cant put that much money into it, 250whp isnt worth having stand alone.

Well if you don't want to tune it then you might as well blow it up right now and save yourself the time and money.

first of all its CROME, and the program is free, unless you want the integrated datalogging, in that case its 150, which is still cheaper than an afc or emanage crap and still does a much better job

Try an FMU, they are cheap and you won't blow up your motor on 15 psi

this guy really needs to hear the two options saying:
"fast,reliable, cheap.
pick two."

as to the actual question....if you are 96-00, get a used 92-95 ecu (100ish), get it chipped (20ish), get a conversion harness(70ish), put it in, get it tuned professionaly (150/hr ish)

lol.. your broke and you want to boost a non turbo car. good luck. Start collecting all the single parts that are given to you. Your going to need them. I thought the same thing. I have a d15b turbo civic. nope. turbos eat money. I don't care how you look at it.

well you are going to have to tune your car no matter what. That is what makes the car last longer and run better. Also becareful if you are buying ebay turbo kits.

You should read this and save your money

Forced induction and being broke usually don't go together.
