turbo controller or no turbo controller???
Well my car is in the shop getting the turbo kit put in. I purchased the evc 4 boost controller by hks and a turbo timer type 0. Well the car is going to be daily driven at 10psi. But i was thinking about going 5 when around town and what not. but what i was thinking if i keep it at 10psi should i worry about installing a boost controller?
d15b jspec
t3/t4 turbo
cast iron manifold
custom downpipe
tial 38mm wastegate
hks ssqv
dsm blue tops 440cc with resonator and clips
walbro 255lph
20.5 x9 x2.75 intercooler with 2.5 piping
i also have a 3bar map sensor but dont know yet if the car is capable of pushing so much on ths stock block especially what i have. Im also getting the ecu chipped (p28) using crome pro and tuned as well after the turbo is installed.
Any advice would help thanks.

Re: (bobafreaklx)
yes you need a boost controller
and no you will not ever see 3bar on a stock block..... if you do then you might want to pick up your internals off the road ...... 3 bar is somewhere around 44 psi
but yes you will need to install the 3bar map sensor.... makes things much easier and plus you wont have a CEL
also, make sure you get your car tuned
