I thought about keeping my a/c at first, but after removing it I have SO much more room I could justify it... course i dont daily drive my accord.

I wish I could keep kinda for the gals.

Pics of my girlfriend's Integra with AC. Custom setup with a T3 turbo. We had to swap for a Civic radiator, and as you can see, the AC line is uncomfortably close to the WG and dumptube (actually, it touches) but with the heat wrap, it's fine. 95 degree Georgia summer days and the AC was perfect.

I am building a budget turbo setup on my 96 Civic Ex and I have been wondering the same thing, how to keep the AC. I have heard the list of manifolds before, i.e. Revhard, Inline Pro, etc. What I am wondering is how I can fit my small T3 (out of a Saab) in my civic using an hf manifold and retain the AC. Is this at all possible? Would removing the condenser fan and installing a pusher fan free up enough space? btw I have an internal wastegate.

A little over 6 months now, no issues. Yeah it is the braced version, you can see one of the braces in the pics.

Yup, got it off ebay. I heard some bad things too about earlier ones, but none of those had braces. I haven't seen any pics of cracked ones that were braced. And some of the earlier ones had a long wastegate flange/pipe, the one on this one is basically a flange welded to the manifold so I don't see it cracking either.

Yeah, I got it for her before I knew all that much about turbo setups. I've got a Tial for my maxima turbo project.

But so far, the Deltagate isn't that bad. Haven't had any boost creep issues, and it's consistent. But it's only running 5 psi, probably run into issues if we ever up the boost.

Here's my old set up. It was a B18C1 in a 93 hatch with A/C and turbo. I have Full-Race now so A/C is gone .

not to jack this thread too far off-topic, but is there a possibility of relocating the 96 Civic EX condenser to use a *free* hf manifold and t3 while retaining AC?

If this is not at all possible, I will shut up about it, but I need some advice on what to do. I am going for the least expensive setup possible, while not taking huge risks of destroying my engine. I would rather spend my money on electronic management than on a manifold, if there are cheaper mani's that will work just as well.

This braced Ebay manifold, Has anyone else had experiences with it? I might use one of these if it won't be too risky.

You can arrange your adapter plate to use A/C and the HF manifold.
