I've got my fan set to cut on at 190F when below 30mph. I think the factory setting it cuts on right before 200F.

When cruising those ^^ are my temps but they go up quickly when at idle.

I have my fan set for 180 also and it seems to do well. I see higher temps when cruising and lower temps when at idle. I am running 50/50 w/ water wetter and I have checked to see if there is air in the cooling system but there isnt. Not sure why my temp fluctuations are the reverse of everyone else though....

under 200 at full boost... which means you should be well below 200 at idle... headgasket installation and head studs are vital in maintaining low ects so make assure you have upgraded head studsand they are properly torqued... while i am not using a fan shroud with my 13" pusher spal fan, if space is available, i would highly recommend using one...

I was running some checks yesterday, ambient temps were 5*C
After a boosted run I was seeing ECT (*f) 185 to 188 with a slight rise on coast down till it settled back to (*f) 175 – 180
What did concern me was the IAT, at the ambient temps of 5*C what should I be looking for?
OK I understand factors such as IC etc play a role but realistically what’s a good IET for this ambient for street driven?

I'm probably a terrible example because my filter/intake is behind my radiator/fan but I usually see ambient temp + ~20-30F. air/air fmic
