fail
turbine side is too big
not that you wont make 400 with it.. just have a really unattractive powerband
why not get a std t3t4 turbo ? its 585$ shipped through us.
a 50 trim is good for a little over 400 WHP and itll spool great on a D series

Yes that's the compressor housing A/R not turbine side. Also it's not just about A/R size it has to do with footprint and wheelsizes also.

nobody needs you to try and sell your **** in this thread...the OP is looking for advice on a turbo he is looking at....its painfully OBVIOUS you dont have a clue, or are just being ignorant to sell your ****. MANY, MANY, MANY people have made WELL over 400hp on the turbo's the OP has posted.

lol what do you expect? bringing a D series to 400hp is hard to accomplish without having to deal with lag issues, which i assume thats what your getting at with that post.
I had a precision SC34 which is a .60 intake housing, .48 exhaust and it was almost maxing out at about 330hp on a fully built D16.
With that kind of power, youll almost certainly have to deal with lag, especially on these small displacement motors.

Whats wrong with the SC61 on a D series? If you have springs and retainers as well as a decent cam it will be just fine...
My tuner JFK_78 is running a precision SC6262s .82ar and it spools just fine, full boost 30psi by about 6300 rpm..
Nothing wrong with a sc61 on a D series as long as you have the room to rev the car

Don't listen to project dc2, stay away from ebay turbos and you'll be golden.

Project DC2 is right about the SC 61 it won't make power till around 4800 or even 5k. You will be waiting for it to spool, and when it does your tires will brake lose. Then it's time to shift.
Ebay turbo's are all bad

How about a precision sc5758 billet wheel, or an appropriate BW unit? There must be a BW that can do this (like the inexpensive BW 50 or 57 trim, but without the large turbine).

Re: Which turbo is better for my d16z6 400whp+ setup
Also, i have an SC34 on my fully built D16, at 17lbs, it made 330whp, and by that time every 1psi increase in boost, it only gained about 3-5hp, so its highly unlikely that turbo will see above 350hp...
