Default turbo b18b help

hey,
I have read alot of these forums about people boosting their b18b, but i still had a few questions that hopefully you guys can help me with.
I am going to be running a stock b18b block with a b18b head polished and ported, brian crower stage 2 turbo cams, titanium retainers and dual valve spings.
I want to turbo it, im not to sure what kind of turbo yet, but im planning on around 15-18 psi of boost.

I'm going to be adding arp head studs also. Is there anything else i would have to do for it to run well? Some people have told me that i need to get the arp rod bolts too but some people also say its not necessary. What are your opinions?
Thanks alot!

I think if you are planning on revving the engine higher then usual, go with the arp rod bolts. Rod bolts are weak compared to the vtec counterpart. the bottom end isn't balanced as well as a b16 or gsr. The head also flows poorly but you got that taken care of. I say get an aftermarket manifold, such as skunk2 or elderbrock., they can be pricey though. i think 15-18 psi is pretty high on a stock ls bottom end. 10-14 psi should do, but it depends on how much power you are trying to achieve. A good tune and tuner is also recommended. . I'm pretty sure there are people on this forum that probably ran 15-18 psi before. Don't cheap out on your waste gate and blow off valve. just my 2 cents
