Assuming you're using the B18b/A-specific ARP's, then no, you don't need to do anything to them to make them work. You will, however, need to remove your cams to get your existing headbolts out, and put the ARP's in. As such, you'll need to redo your valve lash adjustment when you put the cams back in. If you work very carefully and do one bolt/stud at a time, you imay be able to get away with not changing the headgasket, but it might be a good idea to pick up a spare one.
you will be able to reuse the head gasket as long as you haven't started the engine. no need to remove them one at a time. make sure you run the studs all the way in using the hex wrench. then back them off & put them in finger tight. then make sure you use lots of their lube on the threads, both sides of the washers, & on the bottom of the nuts. just make sure you put them in there finger tight. studs need that extra space at the bottom of the hole to stretch, that is how they work to achieve there torque spec.
