Default Turbo b16a question (searched)

Ok Ive been searching for a couple of weeks so i could use any help...

I've got a b16a in my 88 crx, and i wanna go boost. From what Ive seen the precision brand of turbo seems to be one of the top turbos. MY plans is to run a vfac hack with an inline pro manifold, tial ect...
The only thing i haven't picked out is the exact turbo its self. I found the post that tells u how to calculate the right turbo for u but still im confused, i don't wanna choose a to big(laggy) or to small (run out top end) of a turbo.
From any experience/what you seen/whatever, what model sc** would be the best for a b16a with my set up. plus also i going to be running stock compression for a bit if it makes a huge diff.

Thanks in advance

Yea they said you get gains throughout entire band, but to answer your question i think that if you want to spool up quicker you choose the .48A/R, but i also heard that you would never be able to have traction plus you would lsoe a lot of top end power,..and if you choose the .63A/R you will not spool as fast(there are ways though you can get better spool up time) and you will have excellent top end.

The first thing you need to ask is how much power do I want to make. I had a t3/t4 with a .48 ar it pulled very very strong to redline becuase I was only running 12 psi. Spooled quickly though. Now if I was trying to make 400 whp on 20psi with that same turbo I'd see it die off at redline becuase it's not efficient that high. Really once you determine how much power then you it's easy to choose. The SC34 is rated at 545 crank hp roughly 400-450 whp. The SC61 is rated at 680 crank roughly 580+ whp. So decide how you want to drive and what your looking for. If you want quick spool .48 ar small turbo will give you great respone. If you want insane topend then go .63 - .82 ar and a large turbo. Another idea is a compromise maybe a sc34 with a.63 ar that will allow for a pretty good spool and still good top end pull at higher psi. Hope this helps.
