turbo b16 question

Default turbo b16 question

ok so say i get the s100 boost from hondata would that be good for a b16a ctr cams je 9:1 compression and eagle rods, what do you think is the max boost i will be able to run safly for daily driving, this is with p&p head and honed block, how much whp do you think it will produce

Come on man, your asking a damn near impossible question. There are to many factors to consider to give you an accurate or semi-accurate answer.

With forged internals and stock sleeves you should be able to make about 350-400whp 400hp is if you have a good tuner that you trust.
To make that it can take anywhere from 15psi to 30psi depending on your turbo and tuner.

stock don't boost over 10 psi. depends on your tuner though

you can run at least 23psi on pump gas with that setup..

23psi daily without really hurting the engine, i want the motor to last me years not just a year or 2 like a while im only gunna be driving the car in the summer. What else could i say to get a more accurate answer like what info would you need im gunna run agarret t3/t4 turbo i said all the internals like je eagle ibatch?

The S100b will be fine. As far as boost levels, i dont like to see more than 10psi w/o at least a blockguard and some sort of fuel system upgrades, just to be safe.

i heard about block gaurd i guess it cost like 200-300 but i dont know what it does im all new tot his \, my moms bf is helping me to the engine work and stuff but he doesnt know every thing, plus i wanna learn on my own what exactly does it do and does it help a lot?
