I have seen a video of a 99-2000 Si with 20 pounds of boost with a T3/T4 turbo, stock block and head. Just a thick *** head gasket and alot of fuel and tuning. Ran 7.4 in the 1/8 mile with a bone stock motor

I normally run 9lbs low, 15lbs high, 18lbs against a fast car from a roll with my 60-1 and pump gas. Oh wait.. my setup is built.

Without a headgasket I think about 10, 12 if you keep it rich and tune well. With a headgasket 15lbs is fine.

you didn't say what Turbo you have. 15lbs on one Turbo is not the same as 15lbs on another Turbo.

with the average T3/T4 i wouldn't go over 10lbs of boost. if it is tuned with a standalone or Piggy back (Hondata) and big injectors then you can get away with a little more boost.

for the average knucklehead, i wouldn't suggest more than 10lbs.

you guys can't just suggest that he push 14-15lbs w/o explaining what *you* have to tune the car or without explaining that the car needs to be tuned well. you can't expect a motor to last long with 15lbs boost and FMU.

sorry for not being clear...I run 14-15psi with a t3/to4e 60 trim .63ar...not a HUGE turbo but def not a small t3. I run this daily and on pump gas, it is tuned with hondata s100. I switched to an SC61 for next year and plan to run 12psi daily (300-320whp) and 20psi (Goal is 400whp) with c16 for the weekend races/track. I do run a 2mm headgasket which lowers my compression to ~9:1 and ARP headstuds. Hope that clears things up, and yes a good tune is required, ive seen stock b series blow up @ 200whp and ive seen stock b series last for over a year @400whp...

your gonna need alot more than 310cc injectors, if all your gonna boost is 10psi you don't need the headgasket, with the headgaskt you can run 12-14 safely on pump gas, more on race gas...

get 720's and hondata...12-14 is fine, no not everyone will agree because most people have "heard" that you can run more than 10psi on stock motors Im running the same setup you described (2mm headgasket and ARP headstuds) i boost 14.7psi (1bar) on pump gas..i also beat the **** out my car and do countless runs to 120+, no problems yet. im keeping the stock engine and going for 400whp next on c16
