Default Turbo B16 Fuel

Hey all... My buddy and I just picked up a turbo b16 eg coupe.... The car is running extremely rich. It is throwing some codes (I havn't checked em out yet, got home at 3 am and had to be at work at 7:30 lol), but guy said o2 sensor is throwing a code and something else I think. Anyways the car has a 190 fuel pump an fmu and a fields vtec controller.. The car blows all kind of black smoke and back fires and everything at wot and idle / partial throttle. I got 11 mpg on a 150 mile trip.. lol.. anyways.

Basically, from the turbo cars I have seen locally they do not have fmus on the car. I plan on swithcing the fields vtec controller for a vafc that I have laying around, and eventually going uberdata. But could I just use the VAFC without the fmu and it wont run lean. It is a greddy 18g kit with no intercooler on 4-5 psi (will be getting an intercooler very soon) It has DSM 450 intectors on it. It also has what I was told is a missing link. The map sensor bolts to it.. its like 1.5" to 2" long extension for the map.

If I can do that, what 'base' settings should I run on the vafc till i get my wideband back to actually tune it

Default Re: Turbo B16 Fuel (tissimo)

Search for afc hack.. With that youll need to remove the fmu and the missing link and run just the afc controller..
