Honestly I wouldnt bother with ready made kits, they mostly are expensive and quite crude.

i ono. i dont know of any body that can make a mani, downpipe, and dumptube for quite cheap, i want to run like a minimum of a t3/t04e turbo, that would be perfect for the RPM range of my car, and run like a 7psi spring of a tial 38 and the new greddy type RS BOV... the shittiest tune i would go with would be a temp S-AFC tune.

dont know of any kind of toyota tuning products....

Things like this dont come cheap. I'm sure theres several fabricators on this forum that can supply a decent priced manifold. The downpipe is very small in the kit, you're gonna have shitload of problems with exhaust manifold pressure also the turbo is very small. T20... Zomg, thats like instant boost but dies off very early.
Also fueling, S-AFC wont cut it at all, corolla injectors are so damn small 180CC/min or so, I'm running 390CC injectors and even they're beginning to be maxed out.

msd makes that timing retard box so you dont have to manually pull timing out with the dizzy. depends if you really care that much and want to spend some money.

MSD retard box doesnt work with the stock dizzy as far as I know, you need MSD 6AL or so.

eff it lol. ill go and talk to my buddy brian macy from HorsperPower Connections, he is very reputable and is one of the few id let tune my car, ill go and talk to him about a budget boost build on my car.

i just wonder if i want to end up sleeving and putting new rods and pistons in, is if anyone makes a set for the 4afe....

maybe i might run a custom megasquirt tune, just go with that. brian does megasquirt at his shop too...hmm lights are coming on over my head...

Why would you sleeve a block that doesnt have open block like hondas. Stock works just fine if its not damaged. As for rods and pistons, unless you really are going to go way over 200hp you can use 4A-GZE rods (they should fit) and the pistons from them or go to wiseco. Stock rods arent that bad either, I'm using a fully stock engine on my setup.

Well.. yeah its not an open deck. The block is pretty much the same as a 4A-GE, GZE block, its not the weak link.

Well I got close to 200whp with 0.8-1bar boost.... 7-8psi, thats something like .6bar, I'd say something like 180 or so maybe. But its all guestimating.

I think so, but you can use the 4A-GZE pistons, you'll get a low CR with them, probably 8.5:1-9:1 or something along those lines.

quick question, I have a '95 geo prism with the 1.6 4afe and I was wondering if anyone has done the 4age engine swap. and if so how bad was the wiring, will I need a full custom exhaust, what ecu did you use, and how long did it take.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
