Default There's a hole in my turbo!!

I am getting closer to the install date, so needless to say, i have been inspecting the parts to make sure that everything is

I got to looking down inside the housing, and i could see a small hole (approx 1/4") right in line with a bolt that holds the housing on. It apprears that during the machining process, the manufacturer drilled the holes too deep and punched through to the inside of the housing. I can see the bottom of the bolt.

My question is, should i run the turbo? or return it ? Will it not leak?

Are you talking about the bolts that hold the turbine housing to the center section?

yes..... one has penitrated through to the inside of the actual housing. will this cause an exhuast leak out of the bolt hole. I would think that there would be nooo way that it would make its way past the threads of the bolt, but i just want to hear some opinions before i contact the seller.

thanks for helping out!

Every turbo I've owned has had one bolt that comes through as you described. It's nothing to worry about.
