Tunned & detionation??
I have a 2000 ITR boosted on a drag 3 kit, its hondata tunned (s200), but why I am I still detionating?? Jeff at Import builders tunned it for me.
Could it be becuase I still have the drag inline fuel pump and not a walboro intank??. the injector size is Rc 440's.

Knock can be cause by many things, my first question would be how do you know it's knocking and perhaps not something else?
Do you have any type of air fuel monitor or EGT gauge that you can monitor to see what your fuel and temperature's are on the street?
Where is the knock happening, low RPM when you increase load? that would suggest perhaps too much timming etc ... there's many things to look at

Knock? it said detionation....sounds like a grain of rice in a tin can, also it happens at load about 6500 rpm into vtec....can it be the fuel pump or tunner??

If it's truly knocking (detonating) you can stop it by either richening the air/fuel mixture to quench the flame or you can retard the ignition timing. Either way its a tuning issue.

Can't retard the timming anymore, from what i hear...Jeff said its retard to the max, so i'll get retunned by church's this time..with the walboro and fuel pressure regulator.
