Default tuning question!!! 18G greddy LST

hey guys. i have 98 ls teg with greddy kit on it. the blue box is piece of **** so im trying to figure out which way i should take. of course like everyone else i am on the budget cut..... really cant afford 300+ system and getting them tuned. so i was thinking about buying the emanage but it seems like that has a/f mixture issue also. someone told me to get a chip but i didnt completely understand what they were talking about. by chip do they mean like neptune or chrome???? also dont i need to get a obd1 ecu for this??? also how much do they run??? my ultimate question is i guess which is the affordable way to chip and tune my car???? also total guesstimate of how much it will cost..... by the way i was thinking about on the budget between 300-600$ for tune and chip..... thanks guys...

also does anyone offer like pretuned chip??? for example telling them my basic set up and they tune the chip before they send it to me and all i have to do is replace the chip with the stock ecu chip???? because my friend with the 240, it seemed like all they had to do was call a tuner and they basically tuned it for him based on his set up and sent the chip to him.(i know this wont be the best tune but im sure the numbers will be around there)....

hey guys... well looking over chipping my ecu. it looks like its good but i guess its costly than i can afford...... seems like i have to get a p28 since i have obd ls ecu. and obd conversion hardness, chip, tune.... it will cost way too much...... so im leaning more towards emanage blue...... but the question is how much is emanage blue different from blue box from greddy 18g kit????? also what do you need and can you self tune it???? this guy is selling just the emanage box and the harness for about 100$ so i was thinkin about buying it but he doesnt have any software and all that. so i was wondering what exactly you need and if you can get software and other stuff online.......????? please help~~~~~

You will end up switching from emanage to an obd1 chipped ecu solution down the road, do your self a favor & do it right the first time

x2

Your not looking at to much money to convert chip and tune... My local tuner charges around $200 to chip your ecu, basemap it then street tune it w crome. All you would have to add is the boomslang harness for under a 100 then a obd1 ecu for 50-100. Check ebay and they have chipped obd1 ecus for under 150.

they have diff versions of crome, crome free, crome gold and crome pro.. The chips are around 5$ and you need a burner that will put the info on the chip if you want to tune it your self. Burners are around $50.

If you have someone else tuning it they will have there own burner and blank chips.
