Default tuning question

hello i have 98 integra ls/ stock internals with greddy kit on it.... im trying to get rid of the blue box and upgrade to hondata s200 or 300.... the problem im having is that i duno which one to get.... after the turbo im going for a swap and going to track the car alot.... so should i get s300 because of datalogging or is s200 with boost option good enough???? also do i have to get wideband for tuning????

The price difference between s200b and s300 is minimal.
Go with the s300 system & be happy

It is recommended that you run a wideband :-)
If you can't afford one, your dyno tuner maybe able to provide you with one during tuning.

s300 all the way. if i never had to use another s100/200 ever again it wouldnt hurt my feelings. not to mention s300 offers a lot more

i see your in MD. we are an authorized hondata dealer/tuner..... give us a call tomarrow and we can see if we can work out a package deal on the unit and tuning.

we use an FJO wideband for tuning on the dyno

ive had horrible experiances with innovative widebands...however one of my friends that uses our dyno all the time to tune domestic cars loves them.

bang for the buck that cant be beat is the NGK wideband.

antilag, NO CHIP BURNING, on board dattalogging (of every single sensor, not just "wideband dattalogging", usb connection, tempature based fuel and ignition parameters, gear based ignition and fuel corrections, individual cylinder fuel corrections, boost controll by gear, set timing feature, etc etc etc, extra inputs and outputs.......the list goes on and on

Great topic. I'm planning on turbo-ing my gsr next year, so I suppose I'll have to find a competent hondata tuner in flo-ri-da before I do. Now I wish I was in maryland.

Hondata actually recomends PLX devices since they have a wideband and a narrowband output. They can be used as your regular o2 sensor and for datalogging/wideband readings.

i used an m300 on my last car and i never had one problem with it. I'd recomend them. I'm gonna try another one out soon too. The dm5-afr combo from PLX.

Why would you buy a hondata product on ebay ?
Authorized dealers are not supposed to sell hondata products on ebay per the contract they are in.

So what are you going to do when you have a problem you don't have technical support ? Its not worth saving a few bucks when it comes to such a large investment.
