i put my 450cc dsm's in and a chipped ecu..it didnt idle smooth and would die out so i turned that thing on the throttle body and now its doesnt die out but idles funny..would i have to get it tuned or is there a way to fix it and run un-tuned for a while?
the person who tuned my car said the chipping he used is called Atmel 29c256

unless you trust the dude that made the base, i would definately have it tuned, is it loading up on fuel and cutting out? i am assuming it is if you have to open the throttle plate to keep it running, but fly by night "chippers" scare me.

yea i trust him alot cause he's one of the techs at a shop around here and just gave me a deal..
at first when i turn on the car it'd turn on then idle fine for about 20 seconds then start to die.then die
now that i messed with the thing on the throttle body it doesnt die out (good thing) but then it idles funny..like jumpy (bad thing)

You do realize a basemap is just a temporary tune, it should be tuned as soon as possible. Like put the basemap in, drive it to a tuner right afterwards.
Read my sig to read what happens when boosting on a basemap to long.

sell it then. when there is the huffer on the front, there will always be something wrong with it. or something needing to be fixed.
