how safe is it to run a turbo set up , tuned off the FMU?

 

It was done for years prior to the ECU tuning coming out strong, but it's not the best option for tuning and I would prefer not to use it if you have any options otherwise because of the lean spots and just lack of precision.

 

yeah 17 = no money for a decent standalone
